South Korea's Motilink Eyes Expansion of Automotive Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Tamil Nadu
Motilink, a South Korea-headquartered manufacturer of automotive electronics components, has indicated interest in expanding its manufacturing operations in Tamil Nadu. The company currently supplies automotive electronics to Hyundai and Kia and is looking to scale capacity from its Tamil Nadu base to serve these OEM partners across domestic and international markets.
The expansion interest was communicated during a meeting between Motilink's leadership and Tamil Nadu Industries and Investment Promotion Minister Keerthana in Seoul, as part of the state's investment promotion outreach to South Korea.
No investment size, specific plant location, or capacity details have been made public at this stage. The engagement is at an exploratory level, with Tamil Nadu's government expressing support for the proposed expansion.
