Six MoUs worth Rs 3,114 crore were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma between the Industries Department and six private businesses to develop various industrial units in the state, providing a significant boost to Assam's industrial boom.

Addressing the MoU signing ceremony, the Chief Minister stated, "This initiative will pave the way for the establishment of industrial units in Assam."

MoUs will result in a total investment of Rs 3,114 core and more than 5,000 job opportunities in the state.

The Assam Government industries department signed Six MoUs with six private companies.

As per the memorandum, M/s Kesar Petro Products will pump an investment of Rs 2,000 crore which will generate 200 direct and 1800 indirect employment.
