Simpolo to invest Rs 350 crore for a new plant in Andhra Pradesh

Tiles manufacturer Simpolo Vitrified will invest Rs 350 crore to set up a new plant in Andhra Pradesh. The opening of the new plant would help the company expand its reach in the southern states of India.

The Group will also invest Rs 650 crore to expand its production capacity at Morbi, Gujarat. With its annual turnover expected to be about Rs 1,600 crore in this financial year, the sale of 27-28 million sq. mtrs.of tiles this year would increase by 20 million sq. mtrs. with the commissioning of the two facilities in two years.

Simpolo opened a gallery at Lakshmi Ceramics in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on 12 March, 2024.

Moreover, the company, which carved its niche as a consistently growing organisation exports 25 percent of its total production.
