Shakti Hormann, a door maker, is investing Rs 175 crore to establish a greenfield factory in Jaipur's Mahindra World City to manufacture fire-rated steel and wood doors.

In order to meet the need for commercial and residential doors, the new facility would be able to produce 1.3 lakh wooden doors and 2 lakh steel doors annually, according to Shakti Hormann managing director Shashidhar Reddy.

“The facility for manufacturing wooden doors will be ready by March 2024 and that for steel doors manufacturing by June-July 2024," Reddy said, pointing out that eventually it may be expanded to manufacture industrial products and other products if market required.
