Andhra SIPB authorises proposals worth Rs 19,037 crore

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) of Andhra Pradesh authorised investment proposals totaling Rs 19,037 crore.

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired the SIPB meeting, which aims to create jobs for about 69,565 people through the approved projects.

According to the plans, Pepper Motion would invest Rs 4,640 crore to establish an electric bus manufacturing facility at Punganur, in the Chittoor district. 8,080 people would have jobs as a result of the initiative.

With an investment of Rs 531 crore, JSW planned to establish an industrial park at S. Kota in the Vizianagaram district, employing 35,750 people directly and 9375 indirectly.

With an investment of Rs 1,750 crore, Sreyas Industries Limited would establish its unit in the Srikakulam district in Ranasthalam.
