A joint venture led by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded a major rail infrastructure contract worth ₹613 crore in the state of Karnataka. Under the terms of the agreement, the JV will be responsible for executing several key tasks, including the construction of new tracks, upgrading existing rail corridors, and enhancing station facilities. The initiative is part of the Indian government’s ongoing efforts to modernize the country's railway system and provide better services to passengers and freight operations.
