Coal India calls for tenders for 40 MW Solar PV project in Madhya Pradesh

Coal India Limited (CIL), a state-owned coal mining giant, has issued a tender for the development of a 40 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project, aimed at expanding the company's renewable energy capacity, is part of its broader strategy to enhance its green energy footprint.

The successful bidder will be responsible for designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning the solar PV system. In addition to generation, the project will involve operations and maintenance for a period specified in the tender documents. 

This solar power initiative aligns with Coal India’s ongoing efforts to diversify its energy portfolio and contribute to India’s renewable energy targets. The tender is open to both national and international developers, with a focus on boosting India's energy transition towards a more sustainable future.
