RPG Group Exploring Greenfield Tyre Plant in Madhya Pradesh as Part of Expansion Plans

RPG Group is exploring the possibility of setting up a greenfield tyre plant in Madhya Pradesh. Chairman Harsh Goenka told PTI this on October 8, 2026. The proposal is part of the group’s plans to expand its presence in the state.
The group already operates a manufacturing plant in Jabalpur. It is also looking at fresh investments in its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business in Madhya Pradesh. Goenka earlier met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to discuss the group’s expansion plans in the state.
Goenka said the group is still working out the plant’s capacity and investment. He said nothing has been decided. The proposal is at an exploratory stage, with no site, capacity, investment or timeline fixed.
