Rapidise to Quadruple Manesar Electronics Manufacturing Capacity with ₹200 Crore Investment, Adds 120,000 Sq Ft Facility and 10 SMT Lines
Rapidise, an India-based electronics original design manufacturer (ODM), plans to quadruple its manufacturing capacity in Manesar, Haryana. The expansion is part of a three-year investment plan of about ₹200 crore.
The company will build a new 120,000 sq ft facility in Sector 8, Manesar. It will add to the existing 40,000 sq ft facility in Sector 3.
The new facility will add Surface Mount Technology (SMT) capacity, automated manufacturing systems and digital production capabilities. It is meant to support higher-volume and more complex electronics programmes, including server and AI hardware.
Rapidise has already commissioned a dual-lane SMT line. This takes its component placement capacity to about 800,000 components per hour. The line will support complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies and provide real-time production traceability through connected manufacturing systems.
The ₹200 crore will be deployed in phases. It covers the Sector 8 expansion, installation of 10 SMT lines and further manufacturing infrastructure. The expansion is expected to create about 1,000 direct and indirect jobs in FY27.
The company serves the automotive, consumer electronics, telecom, security and surveillance, networking and compute, healthcare and agriculture sectors. The added capacity will allow it to take up larger OEM programmes and enter AI hardware, networking, defence and railways. The source does not give a commissioning date for the Sector 8 facility.
