Ramco Cements Completes De-bottlenecking at Jayanthipuram Works, Raising Clinker Capacity to 5.62 MTPA and Cement Grinding to 4.38 MTPA

The Ramco Cements Limited has completed de-bottlenecking activities at its Jayanthipuram works in Andhra Pradesh. Both the clinker and cement grinding lines were enhanced.
Clinker capacity at the works has increased by 1.01 MTPA, from 4.61 MTPA to 5.62 MTPA. Cement grinding capacity has increased by 0.73 MTPA, from 3.65 MTPA to 4.38 MTPA.
The company's aggregate clinkerisation capacity now stands at 16.95 MTPA. Its aggregate cement grinding capacity is 27.17 MTPA.
The company said the investment was minimal because the work was de-bottlenecking rather than new greenfield construction. No investment figure was stated.
In FY26, the Jayanthipuram works operated at 84% utilisation for clinker and 57% for cement grinding.
