Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of CESC, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), issued on August 5, 2026. The award follows Purvah's response to SECI's Request for Selection for setting up 2,000 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects across India under tariff-based competitive bidding, part of SECI's Tranche-XX.

The contract covers the setting up of a 175 MW grid-connected wind power project. The award positions Purvah Green Power as one of the successful bidders under this tranche of SECI's wind capacity auction.

The project adds to CESC's renewable energy portfolio through its subsidiary and forms part of the broader national push to scale up interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind capacity through competitive bidding routes administered by SECI.
