Pitti Engineering Approves ₹290 Crore Greenfield Casting and Machined Components Facility to Expand Casting Capacity to 36,000 MT and Machining Capacity to 10.8 Lakh Hours
Pitti Engineering Limited has approved a ₹290 crore greenfield capex for a new casting and machined components manufacturing facility, alongside an additional ₹150 crore ongoing expansion programme.
The new facility will raise casting capacity to 36,000 MT per annum and increase machining capacity from 7,20,000 to 10,80,000 hours—about a 50% rise—addressing current utilisation constraints, especially in machining, which is operating at high levels.
Production will be ramped up in phases from FY28–FY29, with full commissioning expected by Q1 FY30. The plant will focus on large castings for mining, off-highway vehicles, and emerging data centre infrastructure applications, in addition to existing industrial customers.
The expansion supports Pitti Engineering’s strategy to move toward higher-value products, backed by steady financial growth in FY26 and rising demand from capital goods, power, railways, and infrastructure sectors.
