ONGC has awarded a contract to a consortium of Nauvata Energy Transition (NET) Enterprise and PERC Engineering, for front-end engineering design (FEED) and project management consultancy (PMC) services.
The contract awarded is for concept study and tender bid package preparation for two developments in the Krishna-Godavari (KG) basin on the east coast of India.
Oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) major achieved its first oil from the KG-DWN-98/2 development project where Nauvata, along with its consortium partner, provided PMC for subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF), subsea production systems (SPS), floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) and onshore.
ONGC’s KG-DWN-98/2 is among the complex deepwater development projects in the world.
Nauvata managed the interfaces on an elaborate contracting quilt, which consisted of multiple international and local contractors, and this newly awarded contract would help in showcasing project capabilities and successful execution by the company.
