Odisha SLSWCA Approves 14 Industrial Projects Worth ₹2,780 Crore Across 10 Districts
The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, has cleared 14 industrial proposals across Odisha with a combined investment of ₹2,780.10 crore. The approved projects span food processing, textiles and apparel, chemicals, medical devices, electronics system design and manufacturing, steel and ferro alloys, and infrastructure, and are expected to generate 14,104 jobs. The projects will be located across Angul, Balangir, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Khordha, Nayagarh, Nuapada and Sundargarh districts.
In food processing, Haldiram Snacks Food Private Limited will set up a snacks and baked products manufacturing unit in Khordha with an investment of ₹500 crore. Tiwana Nutrition Global Private Limited has proposed a ₹140 crore cattle feed manufacturing unit, while Premium Chick Feeds Private Limited will establish a chick feed unit across Khordha, Cuttack and Nayagarh with an investment of ₹105.38 crore.
In textiles, Sahana Clothing Company Private Limited will set up a readymade garment manufacturing unit for knitted baby and kids wear in Dhenkanal with an investment of ₹251.45 crore. Pratima Agro Spinning Mill Private Limited will establish a cotton yarn and textile waste processing unit in Balangir with an investment of ₹125 crore, expected to create 400 jobs.
Three chemicals sector proposals were cleared: Prasol Chemicals Limited will set up a phosphorous-based derivatives plant in Ganjam at a cost of ₹450 crore; New Generation Manufacturing Private Limited will establish a coal tar distillation and by-products unit in Sundargarh with an investment of ₹80 crore.
