Twelve projects totaling Rs 2,794.47 crore in various sectors were authorised by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Odisha.

At its 123rd meeting, which was presided over by chief secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena in Bhubaneswar, the SLSWCA accepted the project clearances, creating jobs for almost 4,715 people.

Projects in the areas of semiconductors and ESDM, aluminium, primary and downstream steel, gemstones, food, beverage, and related industries, and tourism have been proposed for seven districts.
