NECPL bags Udaipur Airport’s new terminal contract

Nyati Engineers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (NECPL) was announced as the lowest-priced bidder for the civil construction of a new terminal building at UDR, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is set to open a new 39,246 square metre terminal in Udaipur. It will feature ten security screening lanes, four aerobridges, forty-two check-in counters and twelve self-service check-in kiosks. 

With a capacity of 2050 people, it will be a major improvement over the current terminal's 680 passenger capacity.

In July 2023, AAI issued a call for bids for the civil construction contract of the terminal, with an estimated cost of Rs. 555.33 crore and a completion timeframe of 840 days (2.3 years). In September, the technical bids were opened, revealing seven bidders. In the process of assessment, Ramacivil India Construction Pvt. Ltd.

During evaluation, Ramacivil India Construction Pvt. Ltd. was disqualified for not meeting the tender’s conditions.
