MoUs of Rs. 1 lakh crore signed at Mumbai Road Show: Uttarakhand Chief Minister

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said agreements worth Rupees one lakh crore have been inked at the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit (UKGIS)-2023 Road Show in Mumbai.

Dhami went on to say that Uttarakhand has started the massive Sashakt Uttarakhand@25 initiative and is following the Prime Minister's clear call for a self sustained India. 

By 2025, the government wants to see its economy grow to be worth USD 5 trillion. The Uttarakhand government is putting on UKGIS-2023 during December 8 and 9, 2023, in an attempt to meet this lofty goal. The industry partner for this summit is the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

It will bring together leading investors from the globe, senior government officials and local business communities for investment opportunities in Uttarakhand.

“Touted as amongst the top pharma manufacturing states in India, Uttarakhand is poised to become a preferred destination in key sectors of Ayush, wellness and pharma through industry friendly policies and single window system,” the Uttarakhand CM further added.

The Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturers` Association (ADMA), Mumbai, which is a pan-India body serving Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers for 25 plus years, also signed an MoU with the Uttarakhand Government to facilitate investment from throughout India to Uttarakhand, in the Ayush and wellness sectors.
