In Uttar Pradesh, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is building the Salempur bypass on NH-727B and tender has been floated for the project.

From km 64.000 of NH-727A (km 171.00 of Sonauli Balia Marg, old SH-01, near Mahadahan Chauraha) to km 61.500 of NH-727B (km 178.500 of Sonauli Balia Marg, near Ahirauli Village), the Salempur bypass is four-lane with paved shoulders.  

For a total length of 14.700 kilometres, the contract, priced at Rs 477.65 crore, will be executed under the hybrid annuity mechanism (HAM).

The bid must be submitted by November 9, 2023, at the latest.
