The Tinplate Company of India (TCIL) has awarded John Cockerill India (JCIL) a Rs 280 crore contract to establish a continuous annealing line (CAL) at the client's Jamshedpur factory in Jharkhand.
In order to install CAL, the job involves engineering, design, fabrication, and delivery of plant and equipment, as well as line erection supervision. The corporation is required to carry out the order for a duration of more than 28 months after the date of implementation.
For the sake of the global steel industry, JCIL designs, builds, and commissions cold rolling mill complexes (CRMCs), processes pines, and provides chemical and ancillary equipment. Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and South America are among regions where it is present worldwide.
TCIL, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, offers consistently high-quality products to meet its clientele requirements. The company has a pan India presence, and its single manufacturing facility, located in Jamshedpur CRMs, electrolytic tinning lines (ETLs) and world-class printing and lacquering lines.
