The Madhya Pradesh government has approved a new logistics park in Indore district, with an expected investment of over ₹600 crore. The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has allotted approximately 23 hectares of land in Machal village to a private company for setting up the facility.

The proposed logistics park will have direct connectivity to the Indore–Ahmedabad National Highway and will be linked to the Pithampur industrial area, intended to speed up goods transportation and supply to manufacturing hubs in the region. Officials said the project is aimed at strengthening logistics infrastructure for freight movement and supply chain management across the state.

The park is expected to enhance regional connectivity for industries in Indore and surrounding industrial zones, complementing the separate 255-acre Multi-Modal Logistics Park already under development near Pithampur. Together, the two facilities are intended to expand the state's capacity to handle growing cargo volumes.

The identity of the private developer for the Machal village logistics park was not disclosed in the announcement.
