Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Minerals & Metals (M&M) vertical, has won a significant order from Hindalco to establish an 850 KTPA greenfield alumina refinery plant in Odisha.

The scope of work encompasses engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation, in collaboration with leading technology providers. 

M&M earlier secured an order for setting up an eight MTPA pellet plant from a leading steel producer in India. 

The order in this category is valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.

The M&M vertical specialises in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions across mining, minerals processing, industrial products, and material handling.
