Karnataka SHLCC Clears ₹29,679 Crore Investment Projects Across 17 Proposals, 66,360 Jobs Expected

Karnataka's State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC), chaired by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, approved investment proposals worth ₹29,679 crore at its 68th meeting held in Bengaluru on September 2, 2026. The committee cleared nine new projects and eight proposals for additional investment across the state's industrial sector, with the projects together expected to generate 66,360 jobs.

Among the new project approvals, Vibrancy Renewable Energies will invest ₹2,194.94 crore, with the project expected to create 30,000 jobs. Hero Future Energies received clearance for a ₹9,760 crore investment expected to create 3,200 jobs, while Mahindra Aerostructures will invest ₹2,300 crore, creating 3,000 jobs. Aequs Consumer Products was cleared for ₹1,104 crore with 4,813 jobs projected.

Other new projects approved include Epsilon (₹1,500 crore), Toyota Kirloskar Motor (₹1,200 crore), Nirani Sugars (₹4,062 crore), TruAlt Bioenergy (₹2,988 crore) and Lighthouse Alternative Assets (₹600 crore). Combined, the nine new projects account for approximately ₹25,710.56 crore of the total approved investment.

Separately, the committee cleared eight proposals for additional investment at existing operations: MSPL (₹884.25 crore), Ensure Reliance Power Solutions (₹250 crore), Honda Cars (₹437 crore), Bhima Fine Chemicals (₹605 crore), Sansera (₹492.24 crore), TVS Motors (₹1,050 crore) and Havells India (₹250 crore).

The approvals span sectors including renewable energy, aerospace component manufacturing, automotive, bioenergy and electrical equipment, reflecting continued industrial investment activity across Karnataka beyond Bengaluru.
