Karnataka Investors Summit witnesses major contributions from automotive sector

Various investments aimed at boosting automotive manufacturing capabilities in India were signed during the Karnataka Investors Summit.

The event emphasised the strong and growing relationship between Japan and Karnataka, highlighting mutual investment interests.

The total committed investment from the automotive sector amounts to 7,499 crores.

Some of the companies that have made major contributions are as follows:

* Industrial Automation India Private Limited pledged to invest Rs 600 crores.

* Toyota India Auto Parts Private Limited, will be contributing 450 crores.
* Sango India Automotive Parts Private Limited, has agreed for an investment of 279 crores.
* Ioma Automotive Fasteners India Private Limited, will be investing 210 crores.
 * South India Manufacturing Private Limited, has agreed to contribute 125 crores.
 * Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited, has pledged an investment of 600 crores.

Various managing directors and executives from these companies were acknowledged during the event.
