The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has informed that 22 bidders have technically qualified for the civil construction work of the 93.2 km Kanpur Outer Ring Road project’s packages 2A and 2B on EPC mode.

As per NHAI, the 66-lane greenfield expressway will link Sachendi, Ramaipur, Rooma, Chakeri Airport, Trans Ganga City, and Mandhana.

It will also be connected to the under construction Lucknow – Kanpur Expressway near Amarsus village which is now well visible on Google Maps’ satellite imagery

The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 5,182 crore. Package 2A is worth Rs. 737.07 crore and Package 2B is worth Rs 544.04 crore.
