Jindal Stainless (JSL) is constructing a stainless steel park in Odisha, and it expects to attract investments around 10,000 crore from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) over the next five years.

JSL has committed roughly 1,500 crore to the development of the park, which is expected to be operational in the next two years and provide prospective employment possibilities for approximately 20,000 people. The corporation plans to welcome more businesses to set up shop in the park.

The state government is supporting this initiative and will encompass facilities for producing downstream stainless steel products, including auto components, fabrications, pipes, and tubes.

In December 2022, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation stone for this pioneering stainless steel park. Spanning 271 acres in Kalinganagar, it is expected to be the country’s first stainless steel park developed by JSL.
