ITC, an Indian conglomerate, has announced aRs 1,500 crore investment in Madhya Pradesh to create an integrated food production and logistics complex, as well as a sustainable packaging products manufacturing plant in Sehore.

According to the firm, these two projects will cover around 57 acres and are projected to deliver a significant boost to the state's agricultural and manufacturing sectors.

"The two projects, when complete, would entail a total investment outlay of Rs 1,500 crore which will support livelihoods across sustainable value chains," the firm said.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while announcing the projects said, “Today, BhumiPujan has been done for two factories in Badiyakhedi. An investment of about Rs 1,500 crore is going to happen, due to which our 5 thousand children will get employment.”
