Epigral Limited, a chemical producer, intends to build a 35,000-tonne-per-year chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) compound manufacturing facility.
This facility would be built in their Dahej plant in Gujarat, India, at a cost of Rs 25 crore.
The CPVC compounding facility is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023-24.
Epigral is in the process of expanding its CPVC Resin production capacity at the Dahej plant from its current 30,000 tons per annum (TPA) to 75,000 TPA by the fourth quarter of FY24.
A portion of this expanded capacity will be dedicated to CPVC compound manufacturing, and an additional investment of Rs 25 crore will be made for this purpose.
This strategic move will enable the company to cater to both CPVC Resin and CPVC compound customers in India.
