Ion Exchange (India) Ltd announced on September 18 that it has secured contracts worth approximately ₹161.19 crore from Adani Power Ltd. These contracts involve delivering comprehensive water and environmental management solutions for two 800 MW units at Adani's Raipur and Raigarh ultra-superpower projects.
The project scope includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of complete water and environmental management systems tailored for both process and utility needs. The projects are expected to be completed within 18 months from the date of the contract award.
In a stock exchange filing, Ion Exchange stated, "The company has been awarded contracts from Adani Power Limited for comprehensive water and environment management solutions valued at around ₹161.19 crore for the 2 x 800 MW units at Raipur and Raigarh Ultra Super Power Projects."
Earlier this year, in April, Ion Exchange won an international contract valued at approximately ₹251 crore for a project in North Africa, linked to material construction in the UAE. This contract involves engineering, manufacturing, site delivery, erection supervision, and commissioning of a desalinated water unit.
