Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a hotel in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The conversion project will be branded as Gateway.
Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL stated, “Dehradun’s proximity to popular destinations such as Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar has attracted a mix of leisure travellers, pilgrims, and business delegations driving a significant rise in tourism. This aligns with our strategy to tap into high-growth markets. With the addition of Gateway Dehradun, IHCL will strengthen its multi -brand presence of five hotels in the city, reflective of the growing tourism potential of the region. We are delighted to partner with Mohammed Ilyas for this project.”
Situated close to the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, the 100-key Gateway Dehradun embraces the beauty of the city, embodying its spirit.
The hotel features an array of culinary options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant offering curated delicacies, and a bar for guests to unwind.
For wellness and recreation, the property offers treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, and a swimming pool. Gateway Dehradun also stands as a leading venue for events and gatherings, housing the region’s largest banqueting facility, spanning over 10,000 sq ft.
