IHCL Expands Uttarakhand Portfolio with Opening of Corbett Hideaway, Jim Corbett
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Corbett Hideaway, Jim Corbett – IHCL SeleQtions, in Uttarakhand. The property, developed in partnership with Leisure Hotels Group, marks the sixth resort from the group to join the IHCL portfolio.
Set along the banks of the Kosi River in Dhikuli, the resort spans seven acres and comprises 80 keys, with accommodation ranging from pool-facing rooms to garden suites, including a 43-square-metre premium suite facing the river. The property features private sit-outs, landscaped open grounds, an all-day dining restaurant named Ija serving Kumaoni and international cuisine, and an alfresco bar and deck called Himmaleh.
IHCL's Chief Operating Officer for Full-Service Business, Gaurav Pokhariyal, said the addition strengthens the company's presence in Uttarakhand and extends its ongoing partnership with Leisure Hotels Group. Leisure Hotels Group Director Vibhas Prasad said the opening builds on the group's role in developing hospitality around Corbett National Park.
Guest experiences at the resort include jungle safaris, birdwatching trips, river rafting, and visits to the Garjiya Devi Temple. The opening follows IHCL's recent launch of Taj Palace, Lucknow, continuing the company's expansion of full-service and leisure properties across India.
