The Company had earlier proposed to set up 60MW Captive Solar PV Power Plant at Bemetra, however the proposed capacity was reduced to 55MWp and could commission only 52MWp due to non-availability of contiguous land.

The Company is making efforts to purchase the land for balance 8MWp capacity and the same will be installed & commissioned in due course, when land is purchased.

The power generated at said Solar Power Plant will be captively consumed by HFAL.
