Hilton Signs 145-Key DoubleTree by Hilton in Rajkot, Marks Brand's Debut in the City
Hilton has announced the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Rajkot, marking the brand's debut in the city and Hilton's first property there. The hotel is being developed in partnership with Sanjayraj and Co. and is expected to open in early 2030, becoming Hilton's fourth hotel in Gujarat alongside DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad, Hilton Garden Inn Surat City Centre and Hampton by Hilton Vadodara Alkapuri.
The property will be located on Second Ring Road in Rajkot's emerging commercial district, offering access to the city's key industrial and business hubs, Rajkot Junction railway station and Rajkot International Airport. Upon completion, the hotel will feature 145 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a spa, a fitness centre and an indoor-outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel will also include approximately 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space, comprising a 17,400 square foot ballroom and additional meeting rooms, aimed at business and social event demand.
The signing forms part of Hilton's strategy to expand in high-growth commercial markets in India. Rajkot, Gujarat's fourth-largest city, is a established centre for engineering, manufacturing and trade, and the project is expected to serve rising demand for internationally branded, full-service hospitality driven by business travel, meetings, weddings and social events in the region.
