Hild Electric Private Limited, a well-known manufacturer and installer of electrolysers, will supply NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL) with alkaline electrolyser technology. Hild Electric will combine stacks with purifiers and separators to create a versatile and highly efficient system that seamlessly interacts with renewable energy sources and permits the creation of green hydrogen.

These advanced electrolyser systems, which have a capacity of up to 600 MW, are designed to be utilised in a range of industrial applications, such as the manufacturing of ammonia, transportation, and power generation, among others.

As reported by SOLAR QUARTER, the adoption of these state-of-the-art electrolyser systems is anticipated to significantly aid NTPC in achieving its challenging green hydrogen goals, which include producing at least 150 kTPA (kilo tonnes per annum) of green hydrogen by the year 2032.
