Haryana Approves ₹304.1 Crore Plug-and-Play Mega Industrial Park in Ambala Under BHAVYA
The Haryana government's State-Level Committee, chaired by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, has cleared a proposal to develop a plug-and-play mega industrial park in Ambala at an estimated cost of ₹304.1 crore. The project falls under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), the central government's programme to develop 100 world-class industrial parks nationwide with a total outlay of ₹33,660 crore over six years.
The park will come up over 108.58 acres at the Industrial Model Township (IMT), Ambala. Planned infrastructure includes 256 industrial plots, 15 ready-built factory sheds, warehousing facilities, Common Facility Centres, worker housing, a skill development centre, internal roads, power and water utilities, a Common Effluent Treatment Plant, and green spaces.
The project will be executed by NICDC Haryana Multimodal Logistic Hub Project Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed jointly by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) and the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
Following state-level approval, the proposal will be forwarded to the central government for final clearance. Once operational, the park is intended to provide ready industrial plots and shared infrastructure for manufacturing and allied units in the Ambala region, supporting the broader BHAVYA push to expand plug-and-play industrial capacity across India.
