Infrastructure  -  Apr 12,2024  -

Greenbase Industrial & Logistics Parks, a collaboration between Hiranandani Group and Blackstone Group, is planning a new investment of approximately ₹800 crore in Oragadam near Chennai.

This investment aims to develop 100 acres adjacent to their existing industrial park, creating an additional 2 million sq ft of industrial space for lease, thereby generating more job opportunities.

According to Hemant Prabhu, the Chief Operating Officer of Greenbase Industrial & Logistics Parks, the successful leasing of the first phase has paved the way for further expansion in the Chennai market. The company offers advanced infrastructure and a well-integrated socio-civic ecosystem, which has accelerated their progress.

Having already developed around 2.2 million sq ft on 136 acres in Oragadam, Greenbase has attracted various industries and made significant investments. The client base has diversified from wind power to automotive, electronics, heavy engineering, and garments.

Notably, a Sri Lanka-based garment maker within the Greenbase park employs predominantly women, highlighting inclusivity in the workforce. Existing customers like Vestas and Gurit are expanding their operations, indicating sustained growth for Greenbase Oragadam.
