The Kerala government has given a green nod for its construction of the super specialty hospital of Guruvayur Devaswom.
The hospital will come up on two and a half acres to the south of the existing Devaswom Medical Centre, and the four-storey building will have an area of one lakh sq. ft.
The plan of the hospital is prepared by the Kanhangad-based firm Damodaran Architect. Reliance Industries (RIL) has pledged Rs 56 crore towards the construction work.
Devaswom Minister VN Vasavan will lay the foundation stone on 30 July, 2024.
