Goyal Salt to establish large plant in Gandhidham

Goyal Salt has set up a salt manufacturing plant in Gandhidham, near Kutch in Gujarat, with an annual production capacity of 4,50,000 MT and an investment of Rs 80 crore.

Spread across 12 acres, the plant is currently in its trial phase and is expected to commence operations by January 2025. 

In addition to the Gandhidham facility, the company operates a 15-acre plant in Nawa City, dedicated to refining, storing, and packaging salt. This unit has an annual capacity of 2,10,000 MT.

Goyal Salt specialises in premium-grade industrial and edible salts, including triple refined free flow iodized salt, industrial salt, double fortified salt, and triple refined Half dry salt. 

Its distribution network spans states such as Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Managing Director of Goyal Salt, Pramesh Goyal, remarked, “Gandhidham offers a conducive business environment and continues to be a top destination for investments.
