GHMC Finalises ₹1,090 Crore Jubilee Hills-NFCL 6-Lane Steel Elevated Corridor in Hyderabad
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has finalised the Jubilee Hills-NFCL elevated corridor in Hyderabad. The corridor is a 6-lane bi-directional steel flyover covering 4.3 km. It is estimated at ₹1,090 crore. It is designed to give signal-free movement across five major junctions.
The corridor will be executed in two packages using steel structures. Package 1 is estimated at ₹580 crore. It runs from Jubilee Hills checkpost to Mugdha Junction. Package 2 is worth nearly ₹510 crore. It runs from Mugdha Junction to Muffakham Jah College. A dedicated ramp will connect the corridor to Banjara Hills Road No. 1.
The design is steel-intensive and centred on modular steel construction, which is intended to speed up execution. The corridor adds to Hyderabad's upcoming infrastructure pipeline.
The source does not state tender dates, bidders or contractors, or a construction timeline. It also does not give the funding source. Structural steel suppliers, fabricators and EPC contractors in the elevated corridor segment are likely to follow the project's tendering stage.
