GHCL began commercial production of liquid bromine (Br₂) on October 12, 2026. The facility has an annual capacity of 2,800 metric tons (MT). It is located at Village Kathivadar, Taluka Rajula, District Amreli, Gujarat.
The plant adds liquid bromine to GHCL’s existing chemicals and commodity chemicals product range. The company plans to supply both domestic and international markets from the new capacity.
