The foundation stone for the new ultra-modern district hospital in Tharad was laid by Gujarat Vidhansabha Speaker, Shankarbhai Chaudhary, and Minister of Health, Rishikeshbhai Patel.

The hospital which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 54.16 core in the border area will provide modern health facilities to the local population.

This new district hospital will be a three-storied ultra-modern hospital spread across 4.50 acres.

The hospital will boast a total of 175 beds, including a 25-bed ICU. The hospital will be equipped with facilities such as ICU, N.I.C.U, SNCU, PICU, and Special Room.

Wide corridors, parking, lifts, and hostels for accommodating relatives of patients will also be part of the hospital complex.
