Escorts Kubota Limited will hold the groundbreaking ceremony for its greenfield manufacturing facility on August 19, 2026, after moving the date forward from the earlier scheduled August 20. The plant will come up in Sector-10 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) Industrial Area in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, close to the upcoming Noida International Airport.

The project follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Uttar Pradesh government on August 17, 2024, and land allotment of approximately 200 acres by YEIDA to the company, confirmed in August 2025. The facility is being developed with a planned investment of over ₹4,500 crore, to be executed in phases.

The first phase is expected to include a tractor manufacturing plant, a construction equipment unit, and allied facilities, with the company aiming to double its domestic tractor production capacity and add new engine and construction-equipment lines. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to generate annual production revenue of over ₹10,000 crore and create more than 14,000 direct and indirect jobs.

For FY2027, Escorts Kubota has budgeted capital expenditure of ₹850–900 crore, including ₹450–500 crore allocated toward this greenfield project. The site's location near the Yamuna Expressway and the upcoming Jewar airport is expected to support the company's domestic supply and export logistics for its tractor, engine, and construction equipment businesses.
