Enlight Metals to Expand Raipur Steel Facility Capacity to Nearly 4,000 Tonnes
Enlight Metals has announced an expansion of its mild steel manufacturing facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, raising production capacity from approximately 1,200 tonnes to nearly 4,000 tonnes. The company said the move is aimed at strengthening its ability to serve industrial, infrastructure and contract manufacturing requirements.
The Raipur facility currently produces mild steel components including slotted angles, cable trays and solar mounting structures, and serves as one of Enlight Metals' key manufacturing hubs alongside facilities in Faridabad and Pune. The expanded plant will incorporate digital monitoring systems and structured quality-control processes intended to improve productivity and reliability.
According to the company, the enlarged capacity will support larger project volumes and provide greater flexibility for its contract manufacturing partners across sectors such as automobile manufacturing, railways, renewable energy and construction. Enlight Metals, headquartered in Pune and founded in 2024, currently serves around 500 OEM clients.
The expansion is expected to generate direct and indirect employment across manufacturing, logistics and technical operations in the region. No specific investment figure for the Raipur expansion was disclosed in the announcement.
