Dusit International and Atmosphere Sign Hotel Management Agreement for 300-Key Dusit Princess Rishikesh in Uttarakhand
Dusit International has entered into a hotel management agreement with Atmosphere, a luxury real estate and hospitality development company, to develop the Dusit Princess Rishikesh in the Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The agreement marks the introduction of Dusit's upper-midscale Dusit Princess brand into this part of India, with the property scheduled to open in 2031.
The development is planned as an upscale mixed-use project comprising 300 keys, including hotel rooms and luxury duplex villas. The property will also feature a clubhouse with wellness and recreational amenities, alongside dining facilities offering views of the surrounding Himalayan foothills. The project has been designed to integrate with its natural setting near Rishikesh, a destination associated with spirituality, wellness, and adventure tourism.
Under the hotel management agreement, Dusit International will bring its hospitality operating expertise to the property, while Atmosphere will lead the real estate development. The project is positioned to serve both leisure and business travellers visiting the Uttarakhand region.
The Rishikesh signing follows the opening of dusitD2 Fagu, Shimla in December 2024 and forms part of Dusit International's stated strategy of expanding across India's gateway cities and emerging leisure destinations. Investment size for the project has not been disclosed.
