DACL Fine Chem Signs MoU for ₹500 Crore Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Unit at Kakinada SEZ
DACL Fine Chem, a subsidiary of Diamines and Chemicals Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kakinada Special Economic Zone Limited (KSEZ) to establish a specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The project entails an estimated investment of ₹500 crore and will be developed on an anticipated 50-acre site within KSEZ. The agreement was signed in Hyderabad by representatives of KSEZ and DACL Fine Chem.
The facility will manufacture high-value specialty chemicals for domestic and international markets, supporting production of specialty chemicals, chemical intermediates and performance chemicals.
KSEZ spans nearly 6,000 acres along the Kakinada coast. The industrial park is being developed for chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, engineering and clean energy industries.
The project is expected to strengthen specialty chemical manufacturing infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, expand industrial activity within KSEZ, and support the development of advanced manufacturing facilities in the region, in addition to generating direct and indirect employment.
