As part of its endeavor to improve nano solutions in agriculture, Coromandel International Ltd. opened its nanotechnology center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, resulting in a 0.40 percent increase in the company's shares.
The center, which focuses on the creation of nano-enabled agro-inputs for plant nutrition and crop protection, is Coromandel's sixth R&D building and second Tech Center.
Research on the synthesis, characterisation, biosafety testing, and assessment of nano-products will be carried out by the Nanotechnology Center. By providing farmers, scientists, and policymakers with scientific data and expertise, its main goal is to support the wider use of nano-inputs in agriculture.
Additionally, the center will serve as the central laboratory for all nano-products of Coromandel and will have the capability to develop a diverse range of bioproducts.
