Chhattisgarh Secures ₹43,600 Crore Singapore Investment Commitments, Led by Energy Capital Global's ₹41,750 Crore 100 MW AI-Ready Data Centre Campus

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has secured investment commitments worth ₹43,600 crore from Singapore. The commitments came during a three-day visit for the Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026. Chhattisgarh and Haryana were the only two states nominated by the Ministry of External Affairs to participate.

 

The largest commitment is from Singapore-based Energy Capital Global (ECG). It plans to set up a 100 MW AI-ready data centre campus in Chhattisgarh at an estimated investment of ₹41,750 crore. The source does not give the site, phasing or timeline.

 

Sunstream Green Energy Pvt Ltd received an Invitation to Invest worth ₹1,500 crore. The project is a 300 MW solar power plant with battery storage. Valency International Pte Ltd received an Invitation to Invest worth ₹350 crore. It is a global agribusiness company with operations in 22 countries. It plans an integrated agro and food processing and export hub, aimed at a farm-to-market value chain in the state.

 

The state also signed a skilling MoU with ITE Education Services, Singapore. It held exploratory talks with Gardens by the Bay and Mandai Wildlife Group on green development and tourism. Sai also led a CEO roundtable with more than 15 global companies, including TCS, SMBC, Tolaram Group and Agrocorp.

 

The state expects the investments to create jobs in AI, digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. It also expects MSMEs and startups to become suppliers to the projects. The source gives no project locations, timelines, EPC contractors or equipment suppliers.
