CG Power Rolls Out First Transformer from New Greenfield Facility in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh

CG Power and Industrial Solutions has rolled out the first power transformer from its new greenfield facility at Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The facility is spread over 50 acres and is described as India's largest single-location power transformer manufacturing facility.
The plant is built to produce transformers in the 220 kV to 1200 kV class, with capacity to roll out 35 power transformers every month.
The facility is intended to strengthen the company's ability to serve sectors including utilities, data centres, railways, renewable energy, oil and gas, and transmission infrastructure projects, both domestically and for export markets. Company officials noted the plant will support CG Power's growing export business.
