Borosil Scientific Board Approves ₹60 Crore Capex for New Glassware Manufacturing Facility in Bharuch, Gujarat

The board of Borosil Scientific, at its meeting held on 22 September 2026, approved a proposal to expand the company's production capacity for glassware products by setting up an additional manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat.
The company has earmarked capital expenditure of ₹60 crore for the project. Once operational, the new facility is expected to increase Borosil Scientific's annual production capacity for glassware products from the existing 15 lakh units to 108 lakh units — a more than sevenfold increase.
The expansion adds a new manufacturing base for the company's glassware business in Gujarat, supplementing existing production capacity to meet growing demand for its scientific and laboratory glassware products.
