Bondada Engineering Bags ₹1,338 Crore NTPC Renewable Solar-BESS EPC Project in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh
Bondada Engineering has received a Notification of Award from NTPC Renewable Energy for a renewable energy project valued at an estimated ₹1,338.03 crore. The project will be developed at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh and covers the engineering, procurement and construction of solar power and energy storage infrastructure.
The scope includes a 250 MW solar photovoltaic project along with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system. Bondada Engineering is required to complete the project within 18 months from receipt of the award.
The contract expands Bondada Engineering's solar EPC order book to approximately 5.5 GWp, while its BESS order book rises to around 1.1 GWh. NTPC Renewable Energy awarded the contract as part of its renewable energy infrastructure development pipeline.
The project is expected to add solar generation and grid-scale storage capacity in Uttar Pradesh, strengthening Bondada Engineering's execution pipeline in the solar and energy storage segments.
