Bihar SIPB Approves 36 Investment Proposals Worth ₹1,628.60 Crore, Led by UltraTech Cement's ₹630.97 Crore Plant in Banka

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved 36 investment proposals in Bihar with a total estimated investment of ₹1,628.60 crore. The approvals were granted during the board's 68th meeting held in Patna. The board also approved financial support of ₹44.89 crore for seven of the projects.

The largest approved proposal came from UltraTech Cement Limited, which will set up a 3.5 MTPA cement plant in the industrial area at Katoria in Banka district, with an investment of ₹630.97 crore.

Other approved proposals span food processing, logistics, healthcare, renewable energy, and agro-based industries. These include projects by Tiwana Nutrition Global Pvt Ltd, Ankoor Tradevista Pvt Ltd, Trycon Logistics and Support Services Pvt Ltd, and GreenExcel Pvt Ltd. The board also cleared proposals from Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Baba Green Energy, RK Shirts Pvt Ltd, Arwal Agro Industries Pvt Ltd, and Shri Grishneshwar Cold Storage Pvt Ltd.

The approved investments are expected to add capacity across cement, logistics, healthcare, renewable energy, and food-processing segments, contributing to the broader development of Bihar's industrial and logistics base.
